Everyone with an interest in networking. Some knowledge of TCP/IP is
expected.
Goals:
An introduction to the Internet protocols and preparation for
implementing in networks.
Content:
The Internet protocols have existed in its current form for about 20
years and a new version called version 6 has arrived. In this
workshop the history, principles and technology behind IPv6 will be
presented. The workshop will cover the basic protocols and compare
differences and similarities in relation to IPv4. The workshop will
include lots of practical excercises and thereby
allow us to experiment with practical examples, configure equipment
with IPv6 and try out the theory on actual systems.
