Company profile

The company Security6.net started officially January 1st 2003, but the plans had been underway for some time.

Coming from many years as a consultant Henrik Lund Kramshøj founded the company to focus on and develop his core comptences which are security, networks and UNIX.

The plans for the company is to enhance the knowledge of security issues in distributed environments and especially in Internet connected environments.

Henrik Kramshøj is holding a title of master of science from Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen DIKU, Denmark

The final project which marked the end at DIKU was the thesis Designing Internetworks with IPv6 which is still available for download from www.inet6.dk/thesis.

This background makes it natural to extend the networking and security competences to the next generation Internet. IPv6 is already in production in many areas of the world, but especially in Europe and even more in the US the adoption of this standard has been very slow.
